The Many Faces of Mason

The Kane Kids Spring '10

Rhonda and I recently got to spend some time together photographing our own children. It's rare for us to get to shoot together and taking pictures of my own children seems to be much harder than working with any other subject. However, it was a great day, and I'm very pleased with some of the images I caught. I'm pleased because I was able to catch glimpses of their individual personalities in the images.

Merritt:  now 9 years old and beginning his 4th baseball season.  This year he will be on a live pitching team and he is very hopeful to get to pitch.  (the chatter of parental nail biting in the background...)

 

   

Mason:  now 6 is a funny little guy with personality plus and tons of natural ability.  He is also beginning baseball this month.  He is in his second year of T-ball and hits the coaches pitches amazingly.

I have a series of pictures of Mason that show his facial expressions in quick succession.  I'll post those soon.  (Hilarious!)

Molly:  what's to say about my little girl.  She's 2 now and "spunky".  That's a PC way to say that she thinks she has the right to boss the world and own all of the world's shoes.  Look out Imelda Marcos.

Ohhhh and by the way, there will soon be coming a Spring Card...  it's like a Christmas card, only later, much later when there is less going on in the Kane family and when it's easier to get together.
